Holzpuppe's 2025 collection, 'Fold', is inspired by the quiet, meaningful act of folding—a gesture we use to mark pages we wish to revisit. This small action speaks of memory, value, and the desire to return. Fold explores the symbolism of folding as a bridge between past and future.

Drawing from childhood nostalgia and the delicate art of origami, the collection reinterprets the gentle curves of folded paper into wearable forms. Each ring is engraved on the inside with randomly selected pages from a 1970s Korean dictionary, evoking the texture and soul of aged, repurposed paper. This theme continues with paper chain–inspired bracelets and paper airplane pendants, echoing innocence and the fleeting beauty of simple moments.

Another central theme of the collection is the reconstruction of broken fragments. We believe that restoration is an act of respect—only things of value deserve to be rebuilt. Rather than simulate broken forms, we physically broke objects and meticulously reassembled them, resulting in unique signet rings, pendants, and a special limited-edition broken chess piece pendant.

Select pieces are enhanced with Keum-boo, a traditional Korean metalworking technique that fuses 24K gold foil onto silver, adding a rich contrast and timeless elegance.
